1. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the PostHub website and to all features available through it. It applies to both visitors and registered users.

PostHub is operated by IKA Artemida Studio, which acts as the data controller for the personal data processed through PostHub.

2. Personal data we collect

We deliberately limit the personal data we collect. When you register and use PostHub, we process the following categories of data:

  • Email address — used as your login identifier and to send transactional emails such as password resets and account notifications.
  • Password — stored only as a salted, one-way hash. We can never read or recover your password in plain text.
  • Content you submit — posts, profile information, links, gallery images, contact details and any other content you choose to publish on PostHub.
  • Technical data — limited server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) used only to operate the service, prevent abuse and debug errors.

3. Cookies and tracking

PostHub does not use marketing or analytics cookies. We do not embed third-party trackers, advertising pixels or fingerprinting scripts.

We use only strictly necessary technical storage to keep you signed in (for example, an authentication token in your browser's local storage). This storage cannot be turned off as the site would not work without it.

We do not track you across other websites.

4. How we use your data

We process your personal data only for the following purposes:

  • To create and maintain your account and let you sign in.
  • To publish and display the content you submit, as part of the public PostHub service.
  • To send transactional emails (password reset, important account or service notifications).
  • To detect, prevent and investigate abuse, fraud and security incidents.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

5. Information you publish yourself

Links, contact information (email, phone, website, social profiles), addresses and other details that you add to your profile or to your posts are published by you and become visible to all visitors of PostHub.

PostHub does not pre-verify this information. We are not responsible for the accuracy, safety or legality of links and contact data you choose to publish. If the information turns out to be fake, misleading or prohibited, the affected content and the account may be removed.

Please do not publish personal data that you do not want to be publicly visible.

6. Sharing of personal data

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

We may share personal data only in the following limited situations: with service providers strictly necessary to operate PostHub (such as hosting and transactional email delivery), under contracts that require them to protect your data; when required by law, court order or a valid request from a competent authority; or to protect the rights, property or safety of PostHub, our users or the public.

7. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your email, password hash and posts within a reasonable period, except where we are required by law to retain certain information (for example, billing records).

Server logs are kept only for a short period needed to operate the service and investigate abuse, and then deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (in particular under the EU GDPR), you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure — ask us to delete your account and associated data.
  • Right to restrict or object to processing in certain situations.
  • Right to data portability where applicable.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data: encrypted transport (HTTPS), salted password hashing, access control to production data and regular updates of our infrastructure.

No system on the internet is 100% secure, but we work to minimise risk and respond quickly to any incident.

10. Children's privacy

PostHub is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old (or older if your jurisdiction sets a higher age of majority) to register an account and publish content on PostHub.

If we learn that we have collected personal data from someone under that age, we will delete it as soon as possible.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how PostHub works. The most recent version is always available on this page, and the "Last updated" date will be updated accordingly.

Continued use of PostHub after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or want to exercise any of your rights, please use the Contact us link in the footer.
